Dear friends and colleagues:

On behalf of the urology department at La Paz Hospital, we welcome you to the Urolap2023 International Urology Course, taking up the 2004, 2005 and 2007 Urolap courses, which started with the development of laparoscopic surgery in Spain and worldwide. These courses, like other similar ones that were organized at the same time in other countries, focused almost exclusively on the dissemination of the laparoscopic surgical technique through the retransmission of live surgeries.

Currently, manual, and robotic laparoscopic surgery are widely established and spread worldwide, and it is necessary to incorporate in our course not only technological innovations, but also scientific breakthroughs in the different fields of urology.

That is why Urolap2023 also incorporates the latest scientific and technological innovations from the different subspecialties of urology: urological oncology, reconstructive urology, andrology, neurourology and pelvic floor urology, endourology and stone surgery. For this we will have the participation of the entire urology team of Hospital La Paz and, especially, of prominent national and international experts.

We will have live broadcast of numerous surgeries, videos of pre-recorded surgeries, conferences, and debates. The format of the course will be face-to-face and with the possibility of virtual connection for those urologists who find it impossible to travel to Madrid.

We have prepared this program with great enthusiasm, to share with you the latest developments in our specialty. The future will undoubtedly belong to those who, based on the solid teachings of our Masters, have an open mind to innovation and maverick pursuit of excellence.
